Bishopswood House is privately owned and forms part of the family business M F Freeman Ltd.
In 2003 Freeman Leisure was established to cater for leisure activities around the Wye Valley with the former Victorian Rectory, Bishopswood House being purchased.

Bishopswood House is run personally by company director Mrs Jenny Freeman.
